I'd be honoured to photograph your wedding day. I am mindful of capturing you and your partners love story in a way that is unique to you. I strive for you to be as comfortable as possible and having fun on your special day. I believe It's essential that we connect & get to know each other before we begin.

My names, Tal Lemmens, a 33-year-old wedding photographer originally from Warrnambool and now based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Formerly, I was a mental health professional where I discovered my love for photography whilst utilising cameras for my own self-care. I initially fell in love with photography through the ocean, and photographing the sea. For me this involved taking my waterproof camera into the ocean to capture moments. This helped me develop my craft in the most challenging & ever changing conditions, whilst swimming in the deep blue. Eventually, I realised my true calling lay in pursuing photography as a career. When not in the ocean surfing or taking photos, I’m either playing guitar, riding down hills on my mountain bike or enjoying a beer with mates.

Photography for me, is about creativity and connection. I prioritise kindness, compassion, communication and curiosity when photographing people. I consider these as vital values in the creative process for me. I am not in the business of forcing people to do things that make them uncomfortable or that aren’t true to themselves when it comes to photography.

What works for majority of couples I photograph is being as natural as possible. I’m not going to make you do anything that makes you uncomfortable or is out of character for you. What I strive for mostly is that you are hanging out, chilling and focussing on having fun on your special day.
